(2007)
I didn't make it through the whole of this; there didn't seem to be much point once 47 had offed Desmond from Lost. Who plays the drug dealing brother of the Russian Premier. I'm all for outlandish craziness in action movies, but it needs to have a sense of humour if it's going to work.
Xavier Gans' video game adaptation plays it pretty straight, and he can't do much with the incoherent plotting and risible dialogue. It's at least blessed with Timothy Olyphant in the title role, who does his best against impossible odds. And that bar code on the back of the head is all very well in a video game but it's a walking advert in "real life". Robert Knepper and Dougray Scott are wasted in supporting roles while, as pretty as she is, Olga Kurylenko doesn't convince as a the hooker Agent 47 shows a soft spot for.
