(2011)
Almodovar reunites with Banderas in a twisted little psychological horror. There's more than a bit of Hitchcock and Cronenberg in the mix too (it's a cooler, more clinical film than I'm used to from this director).
I found my interest waning somewhat in the second half; it's at its best weaving the plot threads together and doesn't seem to really know what to do once it has done this. That said, I think it’s telling that I was more interested in seeing a film based on the final scene than the one Almodovar decided to make.
