(2008)
Neither film gets behind him as a glamorous icon, but this one seems to almost revel in presenting him as just some asthmatic guy wandering about the middle of nowhere, with a hotchpotch of peasants and very limited tactics. I was also impressed by Soderbergh's visual acumen, particularly in the battle sequences. It could definitely have benefited form 20 or 30 minutes pruning, and if I was a financier I wouldn't go near Soderbergh with a bargepole (possibly explaining Sony pulling out of Moneyball), but it held my attention.
